During the 5th round, I started to think more about my second generation, since the elders are one round away from being…well, elders, and my next generation is preparing to age up! It bothered me that there would be kids just floating around (that were taken away by the social worker) so I decided to solve that problem as well as my overall lack of a criminal element in my Neanderthal community by creating the Whitman family, run by Tyron Whitman, and he is the one who “takes” all of the kids now when the social worker shows up. So this way the kids can all grow up at the right time and two generations from now it won’t still show two live children who never aged up after they were taken from their parents.
The BISHOP family…
Arnold Bishop isn’t immediately sure which of the Smith sisters he favors–Gerta and her younger sister Dinah look almost identical and they’re both pretty cool girls. He decides to hang out with them all together to see who he enjoys being around more.
Gerta it is! Arnold informs Gerta that once she’s ready, he would like for her to move out of her family’s house and in with him so they could start their family as soon as possible. (What can I say, he’s a real romantic…)
And over at THE BLACK FAMILY…
Welcome baby Tasha!
Darius grows into a teen boy! Little sister Blossom is unimpressed (but at least her nose isn’t deformed anymore…)
Baby Marvin becomes a toddler! Growing up so fast!
Now on to the HAMILTON HOUSEHOLD…
Kev Morton grows into a teen, and reminds me that now he is the oldest of the only two remaining Mortons… consequently, before long, he and his brother will be moving into their own household to continue their family lineage.
Rachel got her mother’s eyes. She grows into a child and remains the second and youngest Hamilton daughter. (Michael is the heir, even though technically at the time of his conception/birth, he was illegitimate. At the moment it’s looking like he will be marrying Mara Forrester, although Barney Woods is also interested in her and they do live in the same house…)
Leah Hamilton–after being rescued from her kidnapper by her father–has grown into a young woman. Tisa thinks she needs a little help learning how to style her hair and darken her eyelashes from time to time, but she can show her all that…
Richard, the youngest of the Hamiltons, grows into a child!
Orlo Morton becomes a teenager. Older half-brother Michael Hamilton is unimpressed, and Leah is too overheated to pay much attention.
Quite unexpectedly, Till Hamilton has a series of heat strokes and dies!! But, his beloved wife Tisa pleads for his life….
She wins and Till is given a second chance!!
And over at THE MOORE HOUSEHOLD…
After losing their kids, Kaz manages to retrieve his baby daughter, Ajani! Sadly, Trella and Jali are still missing and he was not able to get them back.
Jayla is so glad to have Ajani back, and she’s growing up so fast!
They have a baby girl named Jinella–the first of their children to have Daddy’s complexion!
Jinella is ADORABLE. Before long, she is a toddler and Arla is expecting again!
Ajani becomes a child–she looks pretty solemn here!
Finally, Arla gives birth to twins–a boy and girl that they name Khal and Khana!
At THE SMITH HOUSE…
The kids are all growing up and becoming teens, and it’s time to throw Roy and Ruthie a birthday party. (Ruthie’s giving the peace sign.)
Roy! He looks pretty cool. I think he needs a pair of sunglasses 😉
Kenna becomes a toddler and Bram becomes a child!
At THE WOODS HOUSE…
Wilma and Fred have a baby girl named Lela, and they debate whether they should try to have another one…
But heat stroke hits everyone in the household, and that sneaky woman from the child-stealing tribe comes and takes Rock and Lela away!!!!!
Fred is furious!!!!!! He manages to get Rock back, but he can’t find baby Lela! 😦
Which brings us to the last family and latest addition to Orchard Valley, the villainous, child-stealing WHITMAN household…
Meet Tyron Whitman, stealer of neglected children all over Orchard Valley. He’s a bit of a slave driver, but he gives them a place to sleep and food to eat at least once a day…
Life for Whitman’s kids certainly isn’t easy–no fertilizer for crops, not enough beds for everyone (one person can sleep on the couch while he enjoys his roomy double bed), only one meal served a day, and they have only enough shelter for sleeping, so their chance of heat stroke is probably much higher. Not to mention, they have all been taken from their families…
At this point, he has Trella and Jali Moore, and Steve Hamilton.
Former tribesman Gur Smith comes to visit, but has no idea that Tyron is the child thief. He obviously doesn’t ask, and leaves before the kids get home.
Trella Moore becomes a teenager! Now she can take over as sort of the mother of the group of stolen kids…
His latest and youngest addition: little Lela Woods!
For the final standings in round five:
- Hamilton: $50,345
- Bishop: $29,334 (will likely fall due to being the only Bishop in town)
- Smith: $24,971
- Woods: $23,957
- Black: $22,087 (moving on up!)
- Whitman: $15,314 (thanks child laborers!)
- Moore: $13,725 (obviously this family is very bad with money!)
